Basic/ Essential Qualifications:
Qualified Accountant - CA or CPA.
Strong academic background – 1st class honours, minimum bachelor’s degree from a reputable institution.
Prior experience if any in a month-end or quarter-end focused reporting role or regulatory compliance reporting related role.
Strong excel skills.
Desirable skillsets/ good to have:
Good stakeholder engagement skills and understanding & executing their requirements / expectations.
Enthusiastic, motivated, self-starter, pro-active and a team player.
Understanding Banking environment.
Strong interpersonal skills and excellent communicator.
Support the preparation of the monthly US broker-dealer regulatory report, and supporting schedules which includes balance sheet, income statement and various supplemental schedules.
Support the preparation of the daily US broker-dealer calculations including both Net Capital and Reserve Calculations.
Preparation of analytics on the monthly FOCUS(US broker-dealer regulatory report) report including senior management analysis and target MI for the infrastructure areas.
Interface with Entity Control, Product Control, Treasury and Operations to ensure that the assigned aspects of regulatory reporting are reported on a complete and accurate basis.
Escalate any issues to senior management that may have an adverse effect on BCI regulatory reporting.
Assist on ad-hoc regulatory requests from various stakeholders, including senior management

This role will be based out of Chennai.
