Explore locationJoin us as a Barclays Private Banker, you will be growing, managing, and maintaining a book of ultra-high net worth and family offices clients in Central Eastern European region. You will bring an established and proven network of contacts and would actively leverage that to develop the Private Bank’s penetration into this market. Working as a team in achieving targets for new client acquisition, netting new asset, credit, investment acquisitions, and revenues. You will be fluent in English and other regional languages with previous experience in controlling and monitoring of risk within a client book. You may be assessed on the key critical skills relevant for success in role, such as risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen strategic thinking and digital and technology, as well as job-specific technical skills
To be successful as a Private Banker, you should have experience with:
- Relationship management and experience of managing and handling the needs of private client individuals and families
- Financial Services industry, ideally in the areas of Retail regulated products and services to mass market and high net worth customers and asset management
- gaining in-depth understanding of clients’ needs and advising on a diverse range of wealth management solutions
- you must be RDR level 4 qualified

- high aptitude and understanding of the digital landscape
- excellent market exposure and multi-disciplined private banking experience
- business development and cold calling skills

This role is deemed as a Controlled Function role under the Central Bank of Ireland Fitness and Probity Regulations and may require the role holder to hold mandatory regulatory qualifications or the minimum qualifications to meet internal company benchmarks.
The primary location for the role is Dublin.
