Explore locationJoin us as a Know Your Customer (KYC) Analyst to play a critical role in protecting the bank from financial crime risk by conducting high‑quality periodic reviews, assessing client risk profiles, and ensuring full compliance with KYC and Client Due Diligence (CDD) standards across a diverse and often complex client base.
This role is central to maintaining the integrity of our client portfolio in Barclays Geneva, ensuring that clients remain within risk appetite, identifying changes in risk factors, and escalating concerns where necessary. You’ll work closely with stakeholders, providing expert CDD guidance while independently assessing and signing off reviews on behalf of Operations.
To be successful as a KYC Analyst you should have experience with:
Prior experience in KYC and CDD, ideally with Swiss regulatory and client‑onboarding exposure.
Conducting periodic and non‑BAU reviews across all risk classifications, including High‑Risk and PEP.
Assessing source of wealth, identifying adverse media, evaluating client risk, and escalating suspicious activity to Financial Crime.
Some other highly valued skills may include:
Working knowledge of Avaloq and strong Excel capability.

This role is based in Geneva.
