Explore locationBarclays is seeking a highly detail-oriented and experienced Derivative Confirmations Manager to lead a small, specialist team within our operations function. This is a key role responsible for overseeing the end-to-end confirmations process across a range of derivative products, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and full regulatory compliance.
To be successful as a Derivative Confirmations Manager, you should have:
Previous experience in derivative confirmations across asset classes.
Prior managerial or leadership experience, ideally within a small team environment.
Excellent understanding of regulatory frameworks and operational risk controls.
Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to work under tight deadlines.
You may be assessed on the key critical skills relevant for success in role, such as risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen strategic thinking and digital and technology, as well as job-specific technical skills.
This role will be located at our Glasgow office.
This role is deemed as a Certified role under the PRA & UK Financial Conduct Authority - Individual Accountabilities Regulations and may require the role holder to hold mandatory regulatory qualifications or the minimum qualifications to meet internal company benchmarks.
This role is regulated by FCA.
