To be successful as a Tax Operations Analyst, you should have experience with:
Detailed knowledge of operational tax processes and associated risks.
Microsoft application (Excel, PowerPoint, Project etc.).
Good knowledge and understanding of the implications that Withholding Tax (WHT) regulations have on Barclays and our clients.
Some other highly valued skills may include:
Good knowledge and understanding of the implications that Financial Transaction Tax (FTT) regulations have on Barclays and our clients.
Adaptability to process/regulatory changes, prioritise workload and meeting tight regulatory deadlines.
Knowledge of Asset Servicing and Settlements.
You may be assessed on the key critical skills relevant for success in role, such as risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen strategic thinking and digital and technology, as well as job-specific technical skills.
This role is based in Glasgow.
