Explore locationJoin us as a Product & Proposition Manager - Financial Assistance Lifecycle Strategy, where you will focus on technology transformation and shape end-to-end customer journeys for customers experiencing financial difficulty, defining the support and solutions available to them. You will work closely with developers and cross-functional stakeholders, analyse product performance, identify and report issues, and actively contribute to scrum ceremonies and detailed design sessions to deliver impactful, customer-focused outcomes.
To be successful as a Product & Proposition Manager - Financial Assistance Lifecycle Strategy, you should have:
Experience in collection and recoveries/Financial Assistance.
Ability to look at customer journeys and provide suggestions on how products can be improved based on internal and external market perspectives.
Experience in project delivery end to end, including experience working against agile principals.
Experience in building robust business cases against product propositions and measuring through to post-delivery benefits validation.
Experience working in regulatory and compliance environment.
Ability to manage and influence stakeholders up to Director level across cross-functional teams to support with decision-making.
Some other highly valued skills may include:
Knowledge of multiple product types such as secured & unsecured, which may be revolving or non-revolving in nature.
Experience in using SQL, SAS, Jira or Confluence.
Agile accredited.
Knowledge of impairment, risk weighted assets & operational expenditure metrics.
You may be assessed on the key critical skills relevant for success in role, such as risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen strategic thinking and digital and technology, as well as job-specific technical skills.
This role will be based in Manchester, London or Northampton.
Purpose of the role
To manage and develop existing and new products and/or services; and where applicable, ownership of related customer and colleague journeys, develops the product strategy, drive change through Barclays execution teams, make key decisions in the product lifecycle and own associated outcomes for customers, colleagues and the bank, achieved through appropriate service level agreements, regulatory compliance, risk management and controls.
