Explore locationJoin us as a Product Manager – Credit and Pricing Portfolio where you will make key decisions in the product lifecycle and own associated outcomes for Business Banking by developing the product strategy and driving change. This position will sit within the 1st Line of Defence Portfolio Management team where you will be responsible for Credit Strategy, Commercial Optimisation with our risk appetite, and identification and delivery of new lending initiatives within Business Banking.
To be successful as a Product Manager – Credit and Pricing Portfolio you should have the following:
Ability to work with data sets by translating data to bring it to life.
Existing knowledge of the product lifecycle.
Existing understanding of business lending and factors that go into a credit decision.
Ability to work with stakeholders to agree proposals, understand challenges, story-tell and make changes.
Commercially driven with a strong understanding of risk and control frameworks.
Some other highly valued skills include:
Experience of working in partnership with internal Data Analytics teams for data gathering.
Existing Product Management experience.
You may be assessed on the key critical skills relevant for success in role, such as risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen strategic thinking and digital and technology, as well as job-specific technical skills.
This role will be based in Knutsford, Birmingham, London, Glasgow or Northampton.
Purpose of the role
To manage and develop existing and new products and/or services; and where applicable, ownership of related customer and colleague journeys, develops the product strategy, drive change through Barclays execution teams, make key decisions in the product lifecycle and own associated outcomes for customers, colleagues and the bank, achieved through appropriate service level agreements, regulatory compliance, risk management and controls.
