Explore locationAs a Coverage Finance Business Partner in the UK Corporate bank, you will work in a challenging role to report on, analyse and challenge the financials in the business. This is a key role covering performance tracking in UKC and business segments against externally published commitments.
You will be responsible for working with the business to provide high-quality and commercial monthly performance narrative across key UK Corporate segments, supporting with producing short-term and long-term forecasts, whilst ensuring sufficient controls are in place. Covering the full range of products in UKC, this is a wide-ranging role with the opportunity to drive ad hoc analysis to support the business on financial deep dives and generate insights that inform decision making.
The ideal candidate will have business partnering and finance experience with the ability to work within a broader team and communicate financial concepts to finance and non-finance stakeholders. You will have an accountancy or advanced finance qualification (ACA, CIMA, ACCA) or substantial progress to completion.
You may be assessed on key critical skills relevant for success in role, such as risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen, strategic thinking and digital and technology, as well as job-specific technical skills.
Purpose of the role
To provide financial expertise and support to specific business units or departments within the organisation, and act as a liaison between the finance function and various business units, helping to bridge the gap between financial data and business decisions.
