Explore locationJoin us as a Governance and Reporting Lead where you will prepare reports on various risk and control topics for Risk & Control Gov Committees, Board Papers, Risk Reviews, and ad-hoc requests on emerging issues for Barclays UK Customer & Digital. You will also provide active review and guidance, ensuring a forward-looking agenda for the Committees.
To be successful as a Governance and Reporting Lead you should have the following:
Extensive experience in Financial services with a focus on Governance across Non-financial Risk.
Solid writing and communication.
Ability to present complex MI, Reporting and dashboards for interpretation by senior management and decision making.
Some other highly valued skills include:
Understanding of SMR (Senior Managers Regime).
Ability to navigate through the complex structures and provide holistic overview of the key escalations and topics that need management attention.
Background and knowledge in Conduct Risk.
You may be assessed on the key critical skills relevant for success in role, such as risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen strategic thinking and digital and technology, as well as job-specific technical skills.
This role will be based in London.
Purpose of the role
To provide support to the Chief Risk Officer(S) in the implementation and ongoing effectiveness of the bank's risk management framework across various business units and functions.
