Job Summary:

We have an excellent opportunity to for a Head of Digital Credentials to join the Barclays Talent team to lead the development and implementation of an enterprise digital credential framework aimed at supporting the learning and development of critical skills across the organisation. This is a permanent role and can be based in Glasgow or London.

The Head of Digital Credentials will report to the Head of Development and Skills and, will be accountable for the enduring product strategy, delivery and governance; including continuous improvement of the product road-map to ensure the digital credential framework aligns with the organisation's strategic objectives and target learning outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

Product Strategy and Vision:

  • Develop and communicate a clear product vision and strategy that aligns with the organisation’s overall business goals.
  • Create and maintain a product roadmap that outlines key milestones and deliverables.
  • Identify opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform product strategy.
  • Responsible for implementing the target operating model for BAU management of the digital credential framework

Product Development:

  • Oversee the development and implementation of the digital credential framework ensuring it is user centric and meets the needs of end users
  • Collaborate with User Experience colleagues to design and build an intuitive end-user interface and colleague journey.
  • Maintain digital learning modules appropriate for each critical skill.
  • Coordinate external accreditation with partners who can assure content against industry standards.
  • Integrate the digital credential into HR employee journeys.
  • Guide Communication and Campaigns in raising awareness and increasing adoption.
  • Implement agile methodologies and best practices in product development.

Governance and Compliance:

  • Manage the governance of the product through appropriate forums, ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
  • Maintain documentation and reporting for governance purposes.
  • Establish and enforce product development standards and protocols.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including HR business partners, transformation teams, and content subject matter experts from the divisions and functions.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure alignment and support for the digital credential framework.
  • Represent the product development team in meetings and presentations.

Performance Monitoring:

  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of the digital credential framework.
  • Use data and feedback to drive improvements and ensure the framework meets organisational needs.
  • Report on key performance indicators and outcomes to senior leadership.
  • Implement analytics and reporting tools to track product performance and user engagement.

Financial Management:

  • Develop and manage the budget for the digital credential framework.
  • Ensure efficient allocation of resources to maximize ROI.
  • Monitor financial performance and make adjustments as necessary to stay within budget.

Change Management:

  • Lead change management initiatives to ensure successful implementation and adoption of the digital credential framework.
  • Communicate changes effectively to all stakeholders.
  • Monitor the impact of changes and make adjustments as needed.

Quality Assurance:

Implement quality assurance processes to ensure the digital credential framework meets high standards of quality.

Conduct regular reviews and audits to identify areas for improvement.
