As a Hedge Funds Structurer you'll liaise and manage relationships with external Fund Managers, Third Party Service Providers and Administrators, and internal stakeholders including Private Bankers, Operations, Legal, Tax and Compliance.
You'll be the primary escalation point for all control partners in relation to Hedge Fund activities such as Fund Structuring, New Product launches, pricing, reporting, subscriptions, redemptions and other day-to-day processes and associated queries on a global basis. This will involve working with senior stakeholders and managing both fund launches, new initiatives, and issues from end to end.
This roles sits in the Investments Services, Platform and Product Management team, among other things, responsible for managing key aspects of the Hedge Funds platform.
The role includes:
- Structuring
- Product Governance / Product Management
- Product lifecycle / monitoring
- External and internal stakeholder management (administrator, operations, compliance, legal, etc.)
- Feeder maintenance and best practice improvements as required/identified
To succeed as a Hedge Funds Structurer you'll have:
- Experience of bringing Hedge Funds and Alternative Investments opportunities to private clients/private banking clients
- Broad understanding of regulatory landscape impacting hedge funds across different domiciles.
- Experience of fund structures and offering documentation and incorporating commercial changes, corporate actions, or other restructuring requirements as required.
- Extensive knowledge and experience with Hedge Fund product lifecycle events, such as equalisation, liquidity management, lockups, investment pooling, side pockets, etc.
- Strong academic background holding relevant technical and professional qualifications.
- Extensive experience and track record of delivering Strategic and Transformational change.
- Confident and articulate communication skills (written and verbal).
Additional skills include:
- Experience of fiduciary requirements in a UK based global private bank.
- Sufficient industry knowledge to contribute to the commercial objectives of Private Bank & Wealth Management Investments.
- Ability to understand, challenge and influence second line of defence stakeholders on best practice.
- Networked within the Hedge Fund / Hedge Fund structuring industry.
- Finance or Legal professional qualifications.

Accountabilities
- Provision of SME expertise on specific products and services to customers and colleagues, including features, functionalities, benefits, limitations, risks and compliance.
- Identification of market trends, new features, regulatory requirements and potential risks, and analysis of data obtained from sales figures and, customer feedback, to support the product development process, and communicate key findings to relevant stakeholders to improve product offerings.
- Response to customer inquiries, resolution of issues, and provision of guidance on product usage. .
- Presentation of the advantages and features of the product to potential customers, building trust and encouraging adoption.
- Assistance with the development and execution of marketing materials for the product, such as brochures, presentations, and online content.
- Participation in training sessions and workshops to share product knowledge and expertise with colleagues and other stakeholders.
- Participation in events, conferences, and other networking opportunities to showcase the product and generate interest.
