Internal Audit -People Development VP

Join us as a People Development Vice President at Barclays where you will look after professional development for our global Barclay's Internal Audit (BIA) team. The keys areas of focus will be; onboarding, early careers, skill development, role specific pathways. You will also be responsible for looking after the curricular (for early careers and onboarding), planning for the year and interacting with SMEs.

Essential Skills

• Learning and development professional with experience in instructional design, adult learning theory, learning programs, analysing learning needs, and analysing development
• Prior experience working with technical group of people (e.g. risk, compliance, or audit) and be able to demonstrate they you can summarise complicated subject matters
• Early careers experience; - understanding different types of early careers

Desired skills:

• Technical expertise; analytical thinking and ability to summarise technical information
• Project management experience is an advantage.

This role can be based in London or Knutsford.

Purpose of the role

To provide administrative, analytical, and research support to the Internal Audit team, contributing to the overall effectiveness of the audit function. 

Accountabilities

• Development and execution of operational practices to effectively manage internal audit functions.
• Guidance and support for internal audit functions, by providing technical support and assisting with audit administration, including planning, scheduling, and reporting.
• Development and execution of departmental training to support compliance with internal policies, including content development and training development sessions.
• Monitoring of compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
