Why the Private Bank & Wealth Management Summer Intern Programme?
As a summer analyst, you’ll take your first steps into the fascinating world of international private finance, gaining expertise in key financial markets. By working closely with experienced Private Bankers, you will learn how to assess a client’s needs, then formulate and execute the right solutions to help them reach their goals.
You may:
• Perform financial analysis of potential clients
• Prepare presentations and memoranda for existing and new clients
• Support credit and onboarding due diligence
• Attend client meetings with experienced bankers
• Network and build relationships across a global organisation

Who we're looking for
To be considered for this programme, you must be in your penultimate year of your degree, in any discipline.
Ideally you'll have a keen interest in business and finance and an a curiosity to learn. We value resourcefulness, teamwork, enthusiasm and an entrepreneurial spirit, all of which might be showcased through your involvement in extracurricular activities.
Barclays will require applicants for this position to have legal right to work in the UK.

Purpose of the role
To participate in the day-to-day activities of the private bank and wealth management division providing insights and expertise that help senior colleagues make informed decisions, develop new products and services, and identify new market opportunities.
