Explore locationJoin us as at Barclays as Cross Markets Core Strat to support the Analytics pillar of our Markets Front Office platform buildout. In this role, you will contribute to the design, development, and evolution of a unified analytics infrastructure that empowers decision-making across all asset classes in Markets. In addition, you will also drive the transition of existing analytics to strategic infrastructure. Collaboration is central to this role—you will work closely with cross-functional teams across Core Strats, including User Interface, Reporting, and Data pillars, to deliver integrated, production-grade solutions that serve the needs of trading, sales, and quant stakeholders.
This role focuses on designing and implementing analytics models and tools within the Dart platform to support Front Office users across all asset classes, while delivering a unified analytics layer that serves as a single source of truth for trading, sales, and quant teams. It involves close collaboration with UI, Reporting, and Data teams to integrate analytics through robust APIs, as well as leading the migration of existing analytics by refactoring code, retiring outdated tools, and ensuring seamless continuity for users. The position also includes developing reusable analytics components, maintaining a centralized catalog for governance, embedding analytics into production workflows with strong change‑management and testing practices, engaging with Front Office stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions, and applying software‑engineering best practices to drive continuous improvement.
