Explore locationJoin us as a Risk Oversight Lead where you will play a key role in overseeing the key risks impacting Barclays UK's Customer & Digital. In this position, you will take a proactive approach to managing our risk and control environment.
To be successful as a Risk Oversight Lead you should have the following:
Extensive experience in managing non-financial risks.
Understanding of financial services in the UK.
Working experience across stakeholders within the Chief Controls Office, 2nd Line of Defence functional partners and Audit.
Some other highly valued skills include:
Product knowledge in Retail and Wealth products.
Understanding of digital banking and the risks underpinning them.
Able to drive transformation and change.
You may be assessed on the key critical skills relevant for success in role, such as risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen strategic thinking and digital and technology, as well as job-specific technical skills.
This role will be based in London.
Purpose of the role
To support the Risk Function in delivering it’s objective of safeguarding the bank's financial and operational stability by proactively identifying, assessing, mitigating, and monitoring risks across various business units and activities.
