Explore locationWe have an exciting opportunity to join our UK Real Estate Corporate Banking team as a Structuring Director. As the successful candidate, you will support our clients by leading the Barclays team in complex debt structuring across both investment and development opportunities, expert risk assessment and senior stakeholder engagement to ensure delivery to the highest standards.
You will collaborate seamlessly with a diverse group of real estate specialist bankers across UK Corporate and Investment Bank, as well as with teams in business development, real estate specialist lending, Credit Risk, Portfolio, Product, and Marketing.
You will be an ambassador for Barclays, facing off to key real estate sector professionals, investors, advisers, brokers and prospect opportunities, fostering strong relationships to generate new opportunities and business. Your presence will be felt at key sector events, in publications, and through Barclays-driven thought leadership initiatives.
Moreover, you will support a portfolio of real estate clients, driving growth, ensuring client satisfaction, and maintaining control over that portfolio. As a senior team member, you will play a crucial role in developing your colleagues by providing coaching, sharing industry insights, and ensuring the highest standards of consistently excellent delivery.
Purpose of the role
To manage debt relationships with high-value corporate clients and potential clients Provide support to the bank's senior management team in setting strategic direction and, managing debt structuring risk across the organisation.
