Explore locationJoin Barclays as an Trade Data Lead Business Analyst , where you'll play a key role in supporting the cross-asset Trade Data technology Team by leading the analysis and validation of Investment banking systems and post trade processes, ensuring they meet the highest standards of performance, security, and reliability. To be successful as an Trade data Lead Business Analyst, you should have experience with:
Demonstrating ample business analysis capabilities, particularly in data mapping across trade lifecycle systems
Knowledge of Capital Markets and Regulatory Reporting, derivatives, securities financing, and trade events is vital. An understanding of structures such as FpML and ISO 20022, along with exposure to post-trade functions including settlement, confirmation, and finance processing, is expected.
Effective communication with stakeholders during requirement gathering, refinement, and delivery is a should. The ability to operate within scrum/agile frameworks and manage cross-functional collaboration is considered foundational.
Some other highly valued skills may include:
Data Literacy & Visualisation: Interpreted and visualised multi-faceted datasets; applied data analysis skills including SQL querying to support business insights and strategy-making.
Digital & Technology Acumen: Supported digital transformation and automation by leveraging emerging technologies such as REST API and real-time message publication in XML format to enhance process efficiency and integration.
Strategic Thinking & Change Management: Drove process improvement, strengthened risk and control awareness, and ensured alignment of business analysis activities with broader organisational strategies.
