We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Trading Strategist- Rates to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you'll leverage your exceptional Python knowledge to develop and implement cutting-edge quantitative models and strategies. You'll be instrumental in optimizing trading decisions, pricing, and risk management across diverse financial products and markets. We're seeking someone who can not only build but also own and maintain our critical analytical libraries, providing essential front office infrastructure support.
Essential skills:
- Python expertise and experience in building user facing tools in a front office/sales environment.
- Development and implementation of quantitative models and strategies to derive insight into market trends and optimize trading decisions, pricing, and risk management across various financial products and markets.
- Provide front office infrastructure support though ownership and maintenance of analytical libraries.
- Provision of expertise on quantitative methodologies, technological advancements, and industry best practices to drive innovation within the trading environment.
- In-depth research, data analysis, and statistical modelling to derive insights into market trends.
- Good foundation in machine learning algorithms, deep learning frameworks, data engineering, and model deployment, with a focus on solving real-world problems using AI.
- Good knowledge of Rates products and experience with systematic strategies in the space.
Desirable Skills:
- We are particularly interested in candidates who possess strong expertise in AI/ML, even if your background isn't exclusively in finance. Direct experience running systematic strategies within a bank or hedge fund is highly desirable. A significant plus would be your knowledge of non-linear rates, as we are actively looking to expand our capabilities in this area.

The position is based in our London Office.

Purpose of the role

Accountabilities
