Join us as a Private Banker based in Monaco, where you will play a pivotal role in cultivating and managing long-term relationships with ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) individuals, families, and select corporate clients. You will act as a trusted advisor, connecting client ambitions with the bank’s global expertise across bespoke banking, investment, and lending solutions. In this role, you will manage and grow a portfolio of ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) private and corporate clients, developing a deep understanding of their financial goals and risk appetite. You will provide a full range of private banking services — including bespoke lending, wealth planning, and investment solutions across all asset classes — tailored to each client’s needs.
Acting as the key link between clients and internal specialists in investment, credit, and fiduciary services, you will coordinate the delivery of holistic, high-quality wealth strategies. You will also drive business development through proactive relationship management, networking, and targeted client acquisition, with a focus on sustainable, profitable growth.
You will uphold the highest standards of governance, compliance, and ethics in every client interaction, ensuring all activities meet regulatory and internal requirements. As a senior representative of the bank in Monaco’s private wealth ecosystem, you will build a strong professional presence and network both regionally and internationally.
Essential Criteria:
- Extensive experience in private banking or wealth management, ideally at VP level or equivalent, managing UHNW individual and family relationships.
- Proven track record in developing and expanding client relationships, with strong origination and portfolio management skills.
- Deep understanding of financial markets, investment products, and credit solutions, with the ability to structure complex, bespoke offerings.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to align client needs with the bank’s strategic objectives.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, capable of building trust and delivering client-centric advice.
- Fluency in English; French or Italian proficiency would be advantageous.
- Solid understanding of the Monaco regulatory and financial landscape.

Purpose of the role
To establish and nurture profitable partnerships with both corporate and individual clients. It's the bridge between the bank's offerings and clients' needs, ensuring mutual benefit and long-term success.
Accountabilities
- Management of client relationships to identify the clients financial goals, challenges, and risk tolerance to support the analysis of data obtained from various sources, including the investment portfolio and cash flow, to identify trends, insights, areas for improvement and additional services to support client needs.
- Research and understanding of the client's industry trends, regulatory landscape, and competitive environment to inform strategic recommendations.
- Design of customised solutions that address the client's specific needs and objectives, incorporating a range of products and services from the bank's portfolio.
- Communication of the value proposition of proposed solutions, justification of recommendations, and negotiation of terms that are beneficial for both the client and the bank.
- Provision of guidance to clients to support their financial decisions, offering expert investment advice, risk management and wealth management strategies support, and updates on market trends to ensure a positive and continuous relationship.
- Assessment of financial, legal, and operational risks associated with client relationships, and implementation of measures to minimise potential losses.
- Documentation of all client interactions, transactions, and agreements to ensure transparency and auditability, and communicate findings effectively to support product development, service offerings, and the overall bank strategy.
- Monitoring of client satisfaction, revenue generated, and other relevant metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of relationship management efforts.
