Explore locationJoin us a Barclays Internal Audit Analyst-AVP. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide independent and reliable assurance to executive management and the Board on governance, risk management, and control effectiveness. In this role, you will contribute to audit planning and execution, risk assessment, control evaluation, and issue resolution. You’ll deliver high-quality audit observations and support the development of actionable recommendations to improve business processes.
Salary/rate minimum $ 100,000
Salary/rate maximum $ 150,000

To be successful one should have experience with below:
• Investment Banking and Markets experience.
• Previous auditing or financial services experience.
• Proven written and verbal communication skills with a collaborative approach to stakeholder engagement.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Enthusiastic team player, committed to achieving team objectives.
Highly valued skills:
• Relevant professional qualifications such as CPA, CFA, or CISA.
• Experience with data analytics, coding (e.g., Python, SQL), or machine learning techniques.
• Knowledge of emerging financial products and services.
• Understanding of the regulatory environment.
• Audit experience in mid-to-large organizations or financial services familiarity through non-audit roles.

This role is based in New York.
Purpose of the role
To support the development of audits aligned to the bank’s standards and objectives by working collaboratively with colleagues, providing accurate information and recommendations, and complying with policies and procedures.
