Explore locationJoin us at Barclays as an Investment Banking M&A VP, where you will have the chance to focus on structuring complex transactions, specializing in tax, accounting and legal issues. You will bring your expertise in spin-offs, split-offs, UPC-Cs, IPOs, RMTs and Joint Ventures.
You will play a key role in projects such as company valuation, strategic advisory and execution of debt and equity offerings. You will create financial analysis/ modeling, industry research, and coordinate with internal teams related to a financing or sale. Ensuring a fast and unparalleled customer service to our clients.
To be successful as an Investment Banking M&A VP, you should possess:
Law degree and experience in tax, mergers and acquisitions team at a law firm
Deep understanding of the business of finances
Prior experience in Tax M&A Structuring

Knowledge of a broad range of corporate and partnership tax matters in various industries
Good team orientation and a demonstrated ability to work effectively with team members and key stakeholders

This role is based in New York.
This role is regulated by FINRA.
Minimum Salary: $250,000
Maximum Salary: $275,000
The minimum and maximum salary/rate information above include only base salary or base hourly rate. It does not include any another type of compensation or benefits that may be available.
Purpose of the role
To provide strategic, valuation analysis, negotiation and deal structuring support on public and private mergers, acquisitions, spin-offs, divestitures and identify, evaluate, and execute on potential deals.
