Explore locationJoin Barclays as a VP Investment Banking Fintech, at Barclays, where you’ll have the chance to play a key role in the origination and execution of marquee M&A and financing transactions in the global fintech industry. You will lead project teams to develop financial analysis/ modelling, industry research, and coordinate with other coverage and product teams, to ensure fast and unparalleled customer service to our clients.
To be successful as a VP Investment Banking Fintech, you should have:
Relevant experience as well as deep understanding of Fintech sector (trends, technologies, and regulatory environment) or previous M&A experience
Proven track record of being involved in executing transactions, high proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, client management and demonstrated leadership ability in guiding and training the juniors of the team are traits highly favored by the team
Strong verbal and written communication skills along with a bachelor’s degree in finance or related field along with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously are also skills required for this role
Some other highly valued skills may include:
Experience originating deals in the Fintech space, identifying potential clients and/or opportunities
Ability to manage large scale projects while dealing with multiple stakeholders
Ownership of client relationship and deals, while making key decisions during the transaction process
You may be assessed on the key critical skills relevant for success in role, such as risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen strategic thinking and digital and technology, as well as job-specific technical skills.

This role is FINRA regulated
Minimum Salary: $250,000
Maximum Salary: $275,000
