To be successful as an "AVP- Control Mapping, OLO, Project Arthur", you should have experience with:

Basic/ Essential Qualifications:

  • Complete all training on Control Mapping, including system training, and demonstrateproficiency in utilizing the tools and platforms.

  • Understand complex regulatory legal guidance and apply relevant controls to ensure compliance with laws, rules, and regulations.

  • Collaborate with team members to gather, input, and analyze data related to laws, rules, and regulations applicable to the bank.

  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of data entries into control mapping systems and databases.

  • Follow the agreed mapping process and complete the control mapping output template accurately and completely, meeting the measure of success criteria.

  • Inventory existing controls addressing legal and regulatory requirements, documenting control details such as purpose, owner, and testing procedures.

  • Clearly articulate potential control deficiencies and associated risks, contributing to risk assessment and mitigation efforts.

  • Ensure documentation completeness, including clear descriptions and references to relevant regulations or policies, in adherence to document formatting and version control standards.

  • Resolve conflicts and effectively influence stakeholders to drive results, prioritizing gaps based on risk severity and potential impact.

Desirable skillsets/ good to have:

  • Timely and accurate completion of data input tasks to support control mapping activities.

  • Efficient management of documents and records, ensuring easy accessibility and retrieval.

  • Proactive assistance in administrative tasks, contributing to the smooth operation of the Control Mapping Team.

  • Adherence to compliance standards and procedures, with a focus on maintaining data integrity and accuracy.

This role will be based out of Noida.

Purpose of the role

To assess the integrity and effectiveness of the banks internal control framework to support the mitigation of risk and protection of the banks operational, financial, and reputational risk.  

Accountabilities

  • Knowledge of business areas, products, processes and platforms to be able to assess risk
  • Collaboration with various stakeholders across the bank and business units to improve overall control effectiveness through detailed documentation of control assessments, procedures, and findings.
  • Identification and investigation of potential weaknesses and issues within internal controls to promote continuous improvement and risk mitigation aligned to the bank’s control framework, prioritised by its severity to disrupt bank operations.
  • Development of reports to communicate key findings from risk assessment including control weaknesses and recommendations to control owners, senior management, and other stakeholders.
  • Execution of reviews to determine the effectiveness of the bank's internal controls framework aligned to established and evolving policies, regulation, and best practice.
  • Implementation of adherence to the Barclays Controls Framework and set appropriate methodology of assessing controls against the Controls Framework.
