Explore locationJoin us within our Economic Crime Team, where you will oversee the approach to consequence management and customer exits across our Business Banking customer journey. You will oversee how economic crime risks are managed, ensuring appropriate actions are taken when concerns are identified, while balancing regulatory requirements and customer outcomes. Working with a range of stakeholders, you will help define and deliver the customer exit strategy, shaping processes, guidance, and controls to ensure exits are managed consistently, effectively, and in line with relevant risk and compliance frameworks.
To be successful as an Economic Crime Consequence and Exit Management colleague, you must have the following essential skills
Experienced in Risk management, with a focus on identifying, assessing, and mitigating business risks.
Considerable stakeholder management skills, with experience building and maintaining relationships across internal and external stakeholders.
Knowledge of financial crime, including an understanding of relevant risks, controls, and regulatory requirements.
Ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams, working effectively with Journey Owners and other stakeholders to deliver customer and business outcomes.
Some other highly valued skills may include
Considerable knowledge of Business Banking, with an understanding of products, services, and customer needs.
Financial Crime experience, with knowledge of financial crime risks, controls, and regulatory requirements.
Experience working with KYC processes, including customer due diligence, onboarding, and ongoing monitoring activities.
You may be assessed on the key critical skills relevant for success in role, such as risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen strategic thinking and digital and technology, as well as job-specific technical skills.
This role can be based in Glasgow, London 1CP or Northampton.
Purpose of the role
To support the Risk Function in delivering it’s objective of safeguarding the bank's financial and operational stability by proactively identifying, assessing, mitigating, and monitoring risks across various business units and activities.
