To be successful as a "APAC RACT Operator"", you should have experience with:

  • Operate within a follow-the-sun support model, collaborating with regional teams to provide 24/7 coverage and ensure seamless handover of responsibilities across time zones.
  • Participate in the phased deployment of the follow-the-sun model, adapting to evolving coverage requirements, and supporting process improvements as the model matures.
  • Provide after-hours support for designated regions (e.g., EMEA and AMER) to maintain uninterrupted operations and service continuity.
  • Communicate effectively with global colleagues to ensure accurate, timely transfer of information and tasks during regional handovers.
  • Process access requests, modifications, and terminations in accordance with SLAs and company policies.
  • Oversee issuance of access cards, temporary passes, and badge records, ensuring data accuracy.
  • Provide after-hours support for EMEA and AMER regions to maintain uninterrupted operations.
  • Manage regional access hotlines, resolving or routing queries efficiently.
  • Support periodic access recertification and conduct dip sampling of access records as directed.
  • Assist with regional and global Physical Security projects as assigned.
  • Ensure compliance with regional and global access control standards.
  • Perform system checks and generate operational and compliance reports.
  • Support incident investigations and escalate high-risk issues appropriately.
  • Coordinate with HR, IT, and site security teams for accurate access provisioning and de-provisioning.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Proficiency with access control systems (e.g., CCURE, Vanderbilt, Genetec Mission Control, Traka, Service First).
  • Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
  • Effective communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow or similar ticketing systems is advantageous.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Experience with electronic access control platforms.
  • Minimum five years’ experience in access control, physical security, or a related field.

Purpose of the role

To develop risk management strategies that support the protection of the bank's regional sites against a range of variables. 

Accountabilities

  • Management of specialist security services to support the bank’s regions through site level security oversight activities including the execution of security risk assessments and the alignment of security objectives, contractor management to review the effectiveness of existing physical controls.
  • Implementation of security policies to ensure the effectiveness of existing security operations and controls such as the bank's systems, applications and networks.
  • Development and implementation of risk management strategies to identify and mitigate physical security risks, including access, fire and natural disasters, and implement security controls and provide training to colleagues to mitigate those risk.
  • Development of crisis management and contingency plans for the bank's facilities, evaluated through simulations, to demonstrate how colleagues should coordinate with stakeholders during a crisis.
  • Management of stakeholder relationship including colleagues, vendors and regulatory agencies to algin security operations with the bank's objectives.
