To be successful as an "Assurance Execution Analyst", you should have experience with:

  • Strong Data Governance & Lineage Understanding: Ability to interpret and apply lineage standards, control statements, and attestation requirements.
  • Stakeholder Management & Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Work closely with BU/FN, Data Domain Owners, CDOs, and SMEs across global teams.
  • Issue Tracking & Risk/Control Orientation: Skill in capturing escalations, monitoring lineage quality, and supporting remediation activities aligned with Global Data Management Standards.
  • Analytical & Problem‑Solving Skills: Ability to interpret complex lineage models, trace data flows, and support decision-making.
  • Clear Communication & Documentation Skills: Drafting updates to standards, preparing decks, writing guidance, and articulating key messages for senior stakeholders.
  • Training & Change Enablement: Experience creating and delivering training content for wider community
  • Attention to Detail – Ability to spot inconsistencies, gaps, and risks in documentation, data flows, and governance artefacts.
  • Time Management & Prioritisation – Managing multiple lineage deliverables, attestations, escalations, and stakeholder requests efficiently.

Purpose of the role

To develop, implement, and maintain effective governance frameworks for all data and records across the bank's global operations. 

Accountabilities

  • Development and maintenance of a comprehensive data and records governance framework aligned with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Monitoring data quality and records metrics and compliance with standards across the organization.
  • Identification and addressing of data and records management risks and gaps.
  • Development and implementation of a records management programme that ensures the proper identification, classification, storage, retention, retrieval and disposal of records.
  • Development and implementation of a data governance strategy that aligns with the bank's overall data management strategy and business objectives.
  • Provision of Group wide guidance and training on Data and Records Management standard requirements.
