Join us as a PVT Testing Analyst at Barclays, an experienced QA Automation Engineer with strong expertise in Playwright and Java to drive quality assurance across customer-facing and operational platforms, supporting System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and Production Verification Testing (PVT).

To be successful as aPVT Testing Analyst, you should have experience with:

Basic / Essential Qualifications:

  • Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using Playwright and Java.
  • Develop and execute automated functional, regression, API, and end-to-end test suites.
  • Support SIT, UAT, and PVT testing activities, including test planning, execution, defect management, and release validation.
  • Validate multiple Platforms:
    • Customer Website
    • Mobile Applications (iOS & Android)
    • Contact Center Desktop
    • Salesforce CRM
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and support continuous testing.
  • Collaborate with Product, Development, Business, and Operations teams to ensure quality throughout the SDLC.

Required Skillsets

  • QA/Test Engineering experience.
  • Strong hands-on expertise in Playwright and Java.
  • Experience in Web, Mobile, API, Salesforce, UAT, and PVT testing.
  • Good understanding of automation framework design, CI/CD, and Agile methodologies.
  • Experience with Git, Jenkins/Azure DevOps.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Desired Skills

  • Banking, Cards, Lending, or Financial Services experience.
  • Experience with BrowserStack or similar cloud testing platforms is good to have.

This role will be based out of Pune.

Purpose of the role

To manage and improve products, and the effective execution of these products.  

Accountabilities

  • Management and improvement of products using agile methodologies to support the monitoring of metrics such as usage, adoption, and customer satisfaction, and to support the development of roadmaps that aim to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of a product.
  • Collaboration with stakeholders including traders, salespeople, risk managers and technology teams to align the product vision and development process.  .
  • Utilisation of market research, analysis of customer feedback and monitoring of industry trends to identify new products, features or enhancements.  .
  • Development and execution of reports and presentations to communicate product updates, features, requirements, acceptance criteria and success stories to relevant stakeholders, including developers.  .
  • Execution of user acceptance testing to validate product concepts, identify areas for improvement, and iterate on design prototypes.  .
  • Development and execution of go-to-market strategies for a smooth launch of new products or features in collaboration with marketing, sales, and customer support teams.  .
