VP - Project Manager

Embark on a transformative journey as a VP - Project Manager, where you'll spearhead the delivery of the technology stack, using strong analytical and problem-solving skills to understand the business requirements and deliver quality solutions coming up with the process design of the Foundational / Consolidated and Business data Products. You will be working on complex technical problems that will involve detailed analytical skills and analysis. This will be done in conjunction with fellow engineers, business analysts, and business stakeholders.

To be successful as a VP - Project Manager, you should have experience with: 

• Prior experience delivering complex business and technology transformation initiatives within Legal environments.

• Strong project management experience with a track record of delivering strategic change initiatives across multiple workstreams.

• Experience managing end-to-end project delivery using Agile, hybrid, BMAD methodologies.

• Legal technology domain knowledge, including exposure to legal operations, contract lifecycle management, legal document management, matter management, regulatory processes, and associated workflows.

• Experience delivering technology solutions for legal business functions and partnering with legal stakeholders to define and implement strategic roadmaps.

• Understanding of AI-enabled application delivery, including governance, risk management, adoption, and operationalization of AI solutions.

• Practical knowledge of leveraging AI-assisted development and productivity tools such as Microsoft Copilot, GitLab Duo, Claude, or equivalent technologies across the software delivery lifecycle.

• Strong stakeholder management skills with experience engaging senior business leaders, legal teams, technology teams, vendors, and external partners.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts and confidently present to senior audiences.

• Experience working within global and geographically distributed teams.

• Strong planning, prioritization, and delivery management capabilities in fast-paced environments.

• Experience managing project budgets, dependencies, RAID logs, governance forums, and reporting.

Some other highly valued skills may include:

• Experience delivering Legal AI, GenAI, or Knowledge Management initiatives.

• Familiarity with legal document repositories and enterprise content management solutions.

• Knowledge of regulatory, risk, and control frameworks applicable to Legal technology solutions.

• Business analysis, process mapping, and operating model transformation experience.

• Strong facilitation and workshop management skills.

• Experience using JIRA, Confluence, and Agile delivery toolsets.

• Experience supporting change management, user adoption, communication, and training initiatives.

• Exposure to enterprise data management, governance, and information security practices.

• Good understanding and some usage of GenAI tools for delivering business and technical solutions.

Focused on delivering individual projects, ensuring completion within scope, time, and budget with a more immediate focus.

• Scope Management: Manages a single project with specific, defined objectives, deadlines, and deliverables. Their focus is on completing the project on time, within scope, and on budget.
• Strategic Focus: Operates more tactically, focusing on day-to-day management of resources, schedules, and deliverables for their individual project.
• Time Horizon: Works with a shorter, more defined timeframe as projects have a set beginning and end.
• Stakeholder Management: Primarily manages stakeholders related to their specific project, ensuring communication and expectations are clear for the project’s deliverables.
• Risk and Issue Management:  Focuses on risks and issues specific to their project and works to mitigate them within the project’s scope.
• Resource Management: Manages resources for their individual project, ensuring that the project team has the necessary skills, tools, and time to complete the work.
• Financial Management: Focuses on managing the budget of their specific project, ensuring it is completed within the financial constraints.
• Metrics: Measures success based on the timely completion of project deliverables within scope, time, and budget.
• Change Management: Manages changes that directly impact their specific project, including scope changes, timelines, or resource allocation adjustments.
