Explore locationBecome a Structured Rates Trader of Barclays’ Rates Options and Structured Rates (ROST) Team, where you’ll play a pivotal role to our business which runs globally with centres of excellence in London, New York and Singapore. Being a leading market maker, Barclays offers world-class execution in non-linear products in Rates Options and structured notes including Vanilla Interest Rate Options as well as Structured Interest Rate Derivatives. In your role, you’ll deliver the market making and execute client trades with sales teams across the regions. You’ll participate into the risk management of global books and work closely with colleagues across Japan, Hong Kong, Singapore, New York and London. You’ll will liaise with Research and Sales teams to develop trade ideas for clients as well as portfolio positioning strategies. You’ll handle general desk supports (including working with Product Control, Compliance, Legal and other infrastructure areas). You may be assessed on key critical skills relevant for success in role like, good understandings in financial market and wide interests in Options Trading. Being detail focused, able to work under pressure as well as having excellent analytical skills and being proficient in Python & VBA will be ideal. Being a team player who can build solid relationship with internal and external stakeholders will be a plus.

This role is deemed as a Certified role under the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) and may require the role holder to hold mandatory regulatory qualifications or the minimum qualifications to meet internal company benchmarks.
