Explore locationAs a member of Barclays’ Investment Banking – Capital Markets team, you’ll have an opportunity to support the Japan Banking franchise to create and deliver financing solutions to our corporate and financial institution clients, by assisting senior bankers in originating deals and successfully closing them. You’ll liaise with global teams and be deeply involved in the preparation of material to assist in pitches and execution of deal mandates. Previous experience at a top-tier investment bank or equivalent, a results-driven mindset, and a keen awareness of risk and control are vital. Your ability to foster effective working relationships with colleagues and clients is essential in this role regulated by the Japan Securities Dealers Association (JSDA) and/or Financial Futures Association of Japan (FFAJ). Furthermore, you may be assessed on key critical skills relevant for success in role, such as well-developed oral and written communication skills, native Japanese/business level English speaking skills, as well as job-specific technical skills.
