Explore locationEmbark on a transformative journey with Barclays as a People Advisory AVP. In this role, you will primarily focus on managing employee relations escalations, including raising concerns and handling cases involving electronic communications. While you will provide support to the broader team, your main emphasis will be on conducting investigations and partnering on compliance breaches. The position also addresses escalations related to time in office.
To be successful as a Barclays as a People Advisory AVP, you should have experience with:
Employee relations, including handling complex cases and conflict resolution
Demonstrated ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels
Data analysis and translating insights into clear, compelling narratives to support decision-making
Regularly communicates key metrics and insights to business leaders to drive strategic alignment
Some other highly valued skills may include:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including data organization, analysis, and reporting
Solid foundational knowledge of HR principles and practices across core functions
You may be assessed on the key critical skills relevant for success in role, such as risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen, strategic thinking, digital and technology, as well as job-specific technical skills.
This role is located in our Whippany, NJ office.
Minimum Salary: $95,000
Maximum Salary: $125,000
The minimum and maximum salary/rate information above include only base salary or base hourly rate. It does not include any other type of compensation or benefits that may be available.
