Join us as a Summer Analyst and gain hands‑on experience at the intersection of marketing, data, technology, and business strategy within Barclays US Consumer Bank. This internship is designed for curious, analytical students who are interested in how data‑driven insights and emerging technologies — including AI — shape modern marketing strategies, product decisions, and business growth. Throughout this 10 week program, you’ll work on real business challenges alongside teams in areas such as marketing, product management, partnerships, analytics, and business development. You’ll be encouraged to explore how data, digital tools, and innovative thinking can improve decision‑making and customer experiences, while building practical skills that translate across industries.
The US Consumer Bank – Marketing, Data & Business Strategy Summer Analyst program is designed for students who want to understand how marketing, data, operations, and technology come together to drive effective business decisions in a modern consumer organization. At Barclays US Consumer Bank, teams across marketing, product, partnerships, analytics, and operations work closely to deliver seamless customer experiences and scalable business outcomes. As an intern, you’ll gain exposure to how data and insights inform marketing strategy, how operational processes support growth and efficiency, and how emerging technologies — including AI — are increasingly used to enhance decision‑making, execution, and performance. We value curiosity, collaboration, and continuous improvement, and we encourage interns to bring fresh perspectives as they explore how strategy turns into action across the business.

Who we're looking for
To be considered for this program, you must be motivated and curious with a degree or expected degree in any area. We are looking for curious, analytical, and forward thinking students who are excited by the opportunity to use data and technology to drive business decisions.
Ideally, a GPA of 3.2 or above is preferred.
Pursuing an undergraduate degree in any discipline with anticipated graduation between December 2027 – June 2028
Authorized to work in the United States on a full time basis
Preferred Backgrounds & Interests
Interest in how data, analytics, and technology inform decisions in areas such as marketing, product management, partnerships, or business development
Curiosity about AI, automation, and emerging technologies, including how these tools can enhance personal productivity and business outcomes
Strong problem solving and analytical skills, regardless of major
Comfort working with data, tools, or systems (coursework, projects, internships, or self directed learning)
Collaborative mindset, intellectual curiosity, and willingness to learn
Working in Wilmington
The Wilmington campus boasts a recently renovated office space featuring a cafe, coffee bar, wellness breakout spaces, and more. The campus is located along the historic Wilmington Riverfront where a glance out our windows reveals a scenic look at the Christina River and a growing riverfront community of luxury apartments, shops, and restaurants. Additionally, the Wilmington train station is a short walk away, making travel from New York and Washington, DC fast and convenient.
