Explore locationStep into the role of Assistant Manager - SME at Barclays, where you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future. In this pivotal role you will manage operations within a business area and maintain processes, risk management initiatives, and compliance with relevant regulators. You will take ownership of your work, ensuring it aligns with the relevant rules & regulations, and codes of conduct.
You will act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and serve as a key point of contact for process-related queries and stakeholder interactions. Support business objectives by maintaining effective KYC processes, managing high-risk customer reviews, and fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization.
You may be assessed on key critical skills relevant for success in role such as:
Strong experience in KYC (Know Your Customer).
Experience in AML / Financial Crime Compliance-related activities.
Expertise in CDD and EDD processes.
Preferably experience in client onboarding.
Exposure to high-risk customer reviews and refresh activities.
Desirable skills set:
ACAMS or similar compliance certifications.
Broader exposure to customer onboarding and compliance operations.

This role is based out of Chennai.
