To be successful as an AVP Book Data Governance, you should have experience with:
Basic/ Essential Qualifications:
Mid Senior role-Relevant experience in Data Management
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, operations management, or a related field
Accounting Knowledge .
Desirable skillsets/ good to have:
Technical:
Proficiency in data analysis tools like Excel, Tableau, Alteryx or Power BI.
Skill in creating presentations and explaining complex concepts to diverse audiences.
Problem-Solving
Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and draw actionable insights.
Strong problem-solving abilities to address operational and governance challenges.
Proficiency in handling large datasets and creating reports for stakeholders.
Understanding of operational workflows and ability to streamline processes for efficiency.
Strong verbal and written communication skills for engaging stakeholders and documenting processes.
Communication and Stakeholder Management
Ability to handle escalations, difficult conversations, and facilitate stakeholder forums.
Project and Change Management
Ability to manage projects, including planning, execution, and monitoring progress.
Experience with User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and implementing strategic changes
Experience with process documentation and creating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Regulatory and Governance Knowledge
• Familiarity with governance frameworks, regulatory compliance, and risk management practices.
• Awareness of data governance policies, unauthorized trading risks, and audit standards.
This role will be based out of Chennai.
Purpose of the role
To monitor and ensure adherence to data quality standards, processes, and initiatives to enhance overall data quality and enable effective decision-making.
