Explore locationStep into a role of Specialist Customer Care Support at Barclays, where you’ll take responsibility for client service and operational execution task. You must take responsibility for controlling risk and enhancing controls in connection to your job and areas of responsibility in accordance with rules and regulations. You must follow well defined procedures that may require a range of job routines and make judgement based on practice and previous experience.
To thrive in this role, you will need some previous experience in:
Support various business areas with day-to-day initiatives including processing, reviewing, reporting, trading, and issue resolution.
Collaboration with teams across the bank to align and integrate operational processes.
Development and implementation of operational procedures and controls to mitigate risks and maintain operational efficiency.
Development of reports and presentations on operational performance and communicate findings to internal senior stakeholders.
Identification of industry trends and developments to implement best practice in banking operations.
Have a good knowledge of how the control and risk environment operates
Strong customer focus and drive to the right thing for customers and the bank
Excellent communication skills
Hands on experience on using PowerApps will be added advantage
Must have experience in underwriting/complex baking operations role.
You may be assessed on key critical skills relevant for success in role, such as risk and controls, business acumen, customer service protocol, strategic thinking and digital and technology, as well as job-specific technical skills.
This role is based in Chennai.
