Explore locationEmbark on a transformative journey as an HR Application Support Engineer at Barclays. Working as part of the regional HR Technology Run-the-Bank (RTB) Level 2 support team, you will be responsible for the continual support and maintenance of the technology Applications used by the Global Compliance Business. You will work with other L2 support analysts, both in the region and as part of our global team. You'll have reporting lines to the Regional RTB Lead and the L2 Support. This role requires excellent communication, handling and resolution of various technical issues for a subset of our applications during regional hours. Your role will also help to drive key projects and improvements and ensure adherence to the RTB Governance Framework. This will include working with Build-the-Bank (BTB or L3) teams and business stakeholders, incident/change/issue resolution, and engaging project teams to facilitate the release coordination process.
To be successful as a HR Application Support Engineer, you should have experience with:
HR Workday
Databases such as Oracle, MS-SQL, or MariaDB, including finetuning SQL queries, advanced
investigation skills for performance issues and database profiling ob scheduling, batch jobs, and exposure to one or more of scheduling tools and Unix Platform
Some other highly valued skills may include:
Working within a support function & ITIL Environment
Financial Services and Banking
Knowledge of Retail or Investment banking

This role is located in Whippany, New Jersey.
Minimum Salary: $80,000
Maximum Salary: $120,000
The minimum and maximum salary/rate information above include only base salary or base hourly rate. It does not include any other type of compensation or benefits that may be available.

Purpose of the role
To manage the IT Services department and set the strategic direction, provide support to the bank's senior management team, and to manage IT Service risk across the organisation management of IT Services to support the banks operations and representing Technology service performance with senior stakeholders and managing IT service risk across the organisation.
