Explore locationStep into the role where you will work as part of a team accountable for providing world class client service to a diverse client base. The role holder will be responsible for supporting an Operational Function within the Banking & Payments Operations Centre of Excellence.
You may be assessed on key critical skills relevant for success in role such as:
Manage end-to-end processing of bereavement cases within agreed timelines and service standards.
Review and validate documentation for accuracy and completeness
Process account closures, fund transfers and related updates in line with policy and regulatory requirements
Ensure adherence to compliance, audit, and control requirements at all stages.
Contribute to continuous process improvement and automation initiatives.
Maintain accurate records and documentation for audit and reporting purposes.
Accountable for the delivery of own work against measures in place to track quality, accuracy and risk
Validation and verification of work produced by others using quality assurance processes
Responsible for identifying and managing exceptions and non-standard activity
Awareness of and adherence to risk and compliance policies and procedures
Identification of breaches and risk events and subsequent root cause analysis
Desirable skills sets:
Accuracy in reviewing legal documents such as death certificates, probate, and executor instructions.
Understanding of KYC, AML, and regulatory requirements linked to deceased account holding.
Familiarity with account closure, funds transfer, and estate management procedures.
Ability to manage cases efficiently while meeting strict timelines and service standards
Collaboration - Coordination with compliance, legal, payments etc. teams to ensure seamless case resolution.
Clear and empathetic communication with customers, executors and internal teams.
