Senior Analyst

Embark on a transformative journey as a Senior Analyst at Barclays, where you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future. In this role, you'll be responsible to take responsibility for client service and operational execution task. You must follow well defined procedures that may require a range of job routines and make judgement based on practice and previous experience.

Key critical skills required for this role include:

• Working knowledge on any banking products, Process mapping & Automation.

• Software development lifecycle.

• Good to have working knowledge of JIRA, Confluence, Visio, Service Now and Agile.

• Knowledge of financial services industry working in complex business and architecture environment.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL, Jira, Python, Data Management skills are preferred.

• Excellent verbal and written communication.

• Graduate is any discipline.

This role is based in Chennai.

Purpose of the role

To collaborate with stakeholders and use data and MI to identify process optimisation opportunities for capacity creation in relevant business areas. 

Accountabilities

• Development and implementation of strategies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of banking operations, using data led insights.
• Participation in projects and initiatives to improve performance & optimisation   efficiency and effectiveness.
• Development of reports and presentations on performance & optimisation and communicate findings to internal senior stakeholders.
• Identification of industry trends and developments, and collaboration with stakeholders across the bank to provide recommendations for change and improvement within performance and optimisation processes.
• Development and implementation of analytics and reporting performance & optimisation to mitigate risks and maintain efficient operations.
• Identification of capacity creation in operations using data and Management Information.
