Hybrid Working

Structured hybrid role:    
At Barclays, we offer a hybrid working experience that blends the positives of working alongside colleagues at our onsite locations, together with working from home.  We have a structured approach where colleagues work at an onsite location on fixed, ‘anchor’, days of the week, for a minimum of two days a week or more, as set by the business area (or nearest equivalent if working part-time hours). Please note that as we continue to embed our hybrid working environment, we remain in a test and learn phase, which means that working arrangements may be subject to change on reasonable notice to ensure we meet the needs of our business.

Introduction:

To work as a Project manager within the Programme Integration Office team in in Group Finance CIO. Initially working on the Granular Trial Balance Programme and managing one of the Projects within this programme. Future PM assignments will be dependent on the overall book of work defined as part of the annual budget process. Group finance to deliver major tech change initiatives across financial control, internal reporting, regularity reporting and cost management areas within Barclays.

What will you be doing?

    Produce, interlock and deliver to plan
    Work across workstreams ensuring full delivery within tough regulatory driven timelines
    Co-ordinate delivery across Finance, Business Analysis and tech development teams 
    Utilise experience working within Finance projects to effectively problem solve
    Follow agreed Project Management governance and reporting principles, effectively manage RAIDs

What we’re looking for:

    Knowledge and Experience of Financial Control Processes and Systems;
    Leadership Skill ensuring opinions are listened to and acted upon;
    Systems analysis techniques;
    Ability to work collaboratively in large team;
    Full project lifecycle processes;
    Business analysis techniques;
    Expert user of Microsoft Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Visio;
    Excellent communication skills

Skills that will help you in the role:

    Knowledge of banking services and products; 
    Knowledge and understanding of risks, controls, risk management tools and methodologies.
