Technical KYC Analyst
Isle of Man 

As a Barclays Technical KYC Analyst, you will have exciting opportunity to be working in the CLM Operations team, providing support to the Private Bank segments, specifically Fiduciary and Funds within the Crown Dependencies. Within this role you will be accountable for conducting CDD and tax review of Clients to ensure they meet business specific standards, Global AML policy, and regulatory requirements, while adhering to local operating procedures.

What will you be doing?

•    Navigating across multiple systems while carrying out relevant tasks
•    Ensuring Relationship Manager /Account Executive has identified all risk factors 
•    Analysing corporate /company structures to identify appropriate relevant parties have been identified and perform Screening (e.g. immigration checks, adverse media) 
•    Utilising internal Bank and approved public sources to collate /validate information provided to ensure timely completion of reviews
•    Articulating policy and procedural clarifications and rejections back to the business when deficits within the Client file has been identified
•    Validating the Fiduciary & Fund Administrator and/or Account Executive has complied with AML/CDD policy and tax reporting requirements

What we’re looking for:

•    Will be, or have the ability to become, a subject matter expert in business specific CDD standards, Global AML policy and regulatory requirements
•    To have, or be able to evidence the ability to develop, a wide understanding of Financial Crime regulations and policies (AML, Sanctions, and Anti-Bribery and Corruption)
•    Good working knowledge of the Fiduciary and Fund Market (KBI’s /Corporate Introducers)
•    Good verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact verbal with clients is essential


Skills that will help you in the role:

•    Broad understanding of Financial Services and Regulations
•    Previous experience of working within PBWM and/or Crown Dependencies and Barclays International to understand the proposition
