Explore locationJoin us as a Product Manager – Gateway and have responsibility for defining omnichannel payment experiences for the Barclaycard Payments Smartpay Advance payment gateway. Reporting to the Senior Product Manager for Ways to Pay, you will help define and deliver on the payment method strategy for the Smartpay Advance payment gateway. You will demonstrate significant industry experience and act as the central point of contact for the products you manage. You will gather and analyse the proposition needs from internal and external stakeholders across the business, own the payment method ‘product vision’, identify the long-term roadmap and deliverable points of value that will deliver the product strategy.
Essential Skills/Basic Qualifications:
Demonstrable commercial acumen and analytical approach.
Strong knowledge of payment methods appropriate to the corporate merchant sector
Knowledge and experience of Product Management processes in a fintech environment
Desirable skills/Preferred Qualifications:
Experience of owning and delivering projects and initiatives from inception to live client use
Experience of working with third-party suppliers and partner organisations
Knowledge and experience of Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) processes
This role will be based in London and Northampton

Purpose of the role
To manage a specific product or portfolio and set the strategic direction. Provide support to the bank's senior management team, and to manage product development risk across the organisation.
