Business Support Analyst | Barclays | Geneva | 8 Month Fixed Term Contract.

Come join us as a Business Support Analyst where you will support Front Office teams, PBEs and Bankers by assisting with client reviews, transactional profile assessments, and regulatory remediation activities. Working across private banking client portfolios, the role ensures client records remain compliant with Swiss regulatory requirements through effective KYC, AML and risk review processes, while also collaborating closely with Front Office, Financial Crime and Operations teams.

Essential Criteria:

  • Experience working within a Swiss Private Bank or Wealth Management organisation.
  • Fluent in both French and English.
  • Strong experience conducting Client Periodic Reviews, Annual Reviews and KYC/AML assessments.
  • Proven understanding of client risk assessment and regulatory requirements.
  • Hands-on experience using Avaloq.
  • Experience partnering directly with Bankers, Relationship Managers or Front Office teams.
  • Strong stakeholder management and coordination skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage high-volume review activities.
  • Experience supporting remediation, regulatory or client review projects.


Desirable Criteria:

  • Experience working on regulatory remediation or workload reduction initiatives.
  • Knowledge of Financial Crime processes and controls.
  • Exposure to Boost or similar client lifecycle management systems.
  • Project management experience in a banking or wealth management environment.
  • Understanding of private banking products, client structures, and transactional behaviours.
  • Previous Operations, Client Lifecycle Management or KYC Back Office experience.

This role is based in Geneva.

Purpose

Support and assist Relationship Managers in acquiring, onboarding, servicing and retaining clients to deliver overall business goals, managing complex client situations.

Where required liaise directly with clients regarding complex client requests in respect of various banking and servicing requirements such as onboarding,banking transactions, Investments, credit & digital solutions.

Work closely with Operations and other support functions to deliver positive outcomes for clients.

Accountabilities

  • Establish strong client and internal relationships alongside relationship managers to ensure high quality service is provided at all times

  • Responsible for all aspects of clients servicing and service engagement plans.  To include leading client service review visits to support and improve client experience

  • Develop relationships with other areas of the bank; in doing so, they will have joint responsibility with internal colleagues for the end-to-end client experience, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.

  • Point of contact for all new account queries, complex servicing requests and a liaison between relationship teams and support/specialist teams

  • Ensure legal and regulatory standards and internal policies and procedures are adhered to, support relationship managers with risk related activities
