Explore locationEmbark on a transformative journey as a Technical Product Owner. At Barclays, our vision is clear –to redefine the future of banking and help craft innovative solutions. In this role you will work within a feature team alongside the Product Owner to refine and prioritise the product backlog and craft actionable user stories to support the delivery of the Mass Affluent roadmap. You will work closely with engineers, designers and testers to ensure acceptance criteria is well documented, clear and understood to ensure delivery of the target customer and colleague experience.
To be successful as a Technical Product Owner, you should have:
Previous experience as Business Analyst or Product Owner
Experience working in an Agile methodology
Excellent communication skills, with experience in interacting effectively with senior stakeholders
Other highly valued skills include:
Experience working within the Financial Services sector
Understanding of Human Centred Design and Design Thinking methodologies
You may be assessed on the key critical skills relevant for success in role, such as risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen strategic thinking and digital and technology, as well as job-specific technical skills.
This role is located in Glasgow.
Purpose of the role
To collaborate with product owners and other technical teams involved in the product development process and utilise their knowledge of the bank’s technologies to enact the vision defined in the product roadmap.
