To be successful as a Data Modeler - Transaction Monitoring - AVP, you should have experience with:
Ability to solve problems logically and/or creatively, demonstrating professional judgment, quality control and adherence to high standards.
Experience in utilizing analytical tools for data exploration, analysis and visualization, including certain coding ability and experience on SQL, Scala / Spark / Python.
Databases, structured and unstructured data.
Some experience in development of data visualizations/dashboards.
Understanding of Data Management & Model Validation principles and controls.
Relevant qualifications in data analytics and technical field, with strong organizational skills.
Understanding with Machine Learning, LLM and preferably GenAI.
Some good to have skills:
An appreciation of Financial Crime, AML and Transaction Monitoring/detection and the systems/processes, including an understanding of AML and terrorist financing trends and typologies.
Knowledge of the UK and Global Financial Crime regulatory framework.
You may be assessed on key critical skills relevant for success in role, such as risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen, strategic thinking and digital and technology, as well as job-specific technical skills.
This role is based out of DLF Downtown, Gurgaon.
Purpose of the role
To design, develop, implement, and maintain various statistical, mathematical and machine learning models to support decision-making by analysis and solving complex problems.
