Assistant VP - Global Markets

Join us as an Assistant VP - Global Markets, where you will help develop innovative financial solutions that address client needs while supporting the firm’s strategic objectives. Working closely with Sales and Trading teams, you will structure and price transactions, perform quantitative analysis, and deliver insights that drive decision-making. You will contribute to the development of client-focused solutions, evaluate market opportunities, and help manage risk across a range of products and transactions. To be successful as an Assistant VP - Global Markets, you should have:

• Experience within Structuring, Trading, Solutions, Risk Solutions, or other markets-focused environments

• Ability to analyze, structure, and price complex financial transactions

• Quantitative expertise through academic studies or professional experience in Financial Engineering, Econometrics, Mathematics, Quantitative Finance, or related analytical disciplines

Highly valued skills:

• Analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills

• Experience conducting quantitative analysis, back-testing, and risk assessments to support business decisions

• Communication and presentation skills with the ability to partner effectively with Sales, Trading, and other stakeholders

Minimum Salary: $125,000

Maximum Salary: $175,000

The minimum and maximum salary/rate information above include only base salary or base hourly rate. It does not include any other type of compensation or benefits that may be available.

Purpose of the role

To develop and implement structured financial products and solutions to meet the needs of clients and optimize the bank's market exposure and profitability. 

Accountabilities

• Development of innovative structured financial products and solutions to address the specific needs of clients, including derivatives, structured notes, and other structured investment products.
• Risk analysis and management associated with structured products, including market risk, credit risk, and operational risk, to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and bank policies.
• Assessment of pricing and valuation of structured products, including the use of mathematical models and financial instruments, and liaising with trading to ensure competitive pricing.
• Collaboration with traders, risk managers, and other stakeholders to ensure effective product implementation and risk mitigation.
