Data Scientist - QA Automation Lead

To be successful as a “Data Scientist-QA Automation Lead”, you should have experience with:

Required Skills:

• 10+ years experience on Python, SQL, and strong ability to work with large and complex data.

• Able to formulate and execute a strategy where a playbook may not exist, data precedents may not be available.

• 7+ years experience in leading delivery of complex solutions using data science/ AI techniques.

• You will be the key person in translating business requirements into technical plans and delivering results back into the business while leading a team of 2-3 AVPs functionally.

• 5+ years experience in influencing senior stakeholders, demonstrable consultative mindset; you should be as comfortable contributing to a “business meeting” as a technical one.

Additional Skills:

• Experience working with Spark, Alteryx, Tableau/PowerBI and Cloud based platform.

• Experience working with Cloud solutions.

Basic/ Essential Qualifications:

• Degree in STEM discipline

Purpose of the role

To use innovative data analytics and machine learning techniques to extract valuable insights from the bank's data reserves, leveraging these insights to inform strategic decision-making, improve operational efficiency, and drive innovation across the organisation. 

Accountabilities

• Identification, collection, extraction of data from various sources, including internal and external sources.
• Performing data cleaning, wrangling, and transformation to ensure its quality and suitability for analysis.
• Development and maintenance of efficient data pipelines for automated data acquisition and processing.
• Design and conduct of statistical and machine learning models to analyse patterns, trends, and relationships in the data.
• Development and implementation of predictive models to forecast future outcomes and identify potential risks and opportunities.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to seek out opportunities to add value from data through Data Science.
