Join us as a "Senior Data Analyst", where you'll be responsible to support the bank's decision-making processes by providing timely, accurate, and insightful information through designing, developing, and maintaining management reports, compelling visualisations and dashboards that effectively communicate key performance indicators (KPIs), data insights and trends across various business units.

To be successful in this role, you should possess advanced applied experience across the following skillsets:

  • Experienced in using analytical techniques to translate data use cases into actionable insights that drive measurable business outcomes.

  • Proficient programming skills, including SQL and cloud-based platforms such as AWS.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management, with the ability to articulate technical findings in clear business terms and demonstrate value to senior stakeholders.

  • Technical leadership and mentoring, supporting junior analysts and functional teams to maintain best‑practice analytical standards.

  • High analytical diligence, with a meticulous approach to data validation, quality assurance, and cross‑checking insights to ensure accuracy and reliability.

Highly valued skills include:

  • Experience using Python to solve analytical and automation challenges.

  • Advance use of Business Intelligence tools (Tableau, Power BI) to generate actionable insights for stakeholders.

  • Project management and cross‑functional leadership, with experience delivering work through a matrixed organization.

  • Strong understanding of digital banking channels and end‑to‑end payment journeys, with the ability to interpret customer behavior to identify trends, friction points and opportunities for optimization.

  • Experience working with product, UX, or digital journey teams to embed analytics into digital design and optimization cycles.

This role is based out of Gurugram.

Purpose of the role

To support the bank's decision-making processes by providing timely, accurate, and insightful information through designing, developing, and maintaining management reports, compelling visualisations and dashboards that effectively communicate key performance indicators (KPIs), data insights and trends across various business units.

Accountabilities

  • Design and development of comprehensive reports and dashboards utilisng best practices in data visualisation principles and design aesthetics to ensure clarity, accuracy, and accessibility.

  • Design, development and implementation of automated report generation processes and visualisation methodologies for improved efficiency and timeliness. 

  • Identification and analysis of business requirements to define report content and format.

  • Maintenance and updating of existing reports and dashboards to reflect changing business needs, including co-ordination of reporting template releases and related administrative tasks.

  • Development of robust processes & controls for collating input data, performing exploratory data analysis & data cleansing and seeking signoffs as required. 

  • Engagement with stakeholders as needed to ensure up to date data is incorporated into reporting and visualisations.
