Sr SAS Analyst

What will you be doing?

Barclays Services LLC seeks Sr SAS Analyst in Henderson, NV (multiple positions available):

1.    Responsible for Forecasting and Planning, including Volume and FTE requirement, for Consumer Bank Operations Customer Contact Centers to deliver actionable insights and metrics to the business that optimize shareholder and customer value.
2.    Responsible for all forecasting needs, and providing ad-hoc analysis in support of forecasting across one or more key business functions.
3.    Monitor forecast accuracy, diagnose and analyze variance due to real-world challenges to make necessary adjustments.
4.    Own the socialization of the forecast through strong presentation and interpersonal skills across different audience types including non-technical stakeholders.
5.    Ensure all documentation related to forecasting process is up to date, along with Excel files that are shared with key stakeholders.
6.    Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, with the ability to communicate clearly and concisely to timely deliver business outcomes.
7.    Learn business areas to efficiently evaluate forecasting effectives and relevance, utilizing advanced analytical skills using Excel, SQL and/or Python/SAS.
8.    May telecommute.

Salary / Rate Minimum/yr: $130K per year
Salary / Rate Maximum/yr: $137K per year

The minimum and maximum salary/rate information above include only base salary or base hourly rate. It does not include any other type of compensation or benefits that may be available.
This position is eligible for incentives pursuant to Barclays Employee Referral Program.

Purpose of the role

To transform raw data into useful and actionable insights that support strategic decision-making across the bank. 

Accountabilities

• Delivery of Business Intelligence (BI) solutions including multi-dimensional database models, data marts, data warehousing, data transforms, data analytics, and reporting solutions, to support the decision-making processes across the bank.
• Execution of data extraction, cleansing and maintenance initiatives from a range of resources including internal systems, external data bases and market feeds.
• Development of data models, dashboards and reports to clearly communicate the banks key business KPIs, performance, trends, and relationships to various levels of management within the bank.
• Provision of responses and solutions to business requests for data analysis by building custom queries and reports to address specific questions and problems.
• Monitoring KPIs against established objectives and benchmarks to identify trends, patterns and anomalies that may impact the banks performance and provide recommendations to improve highlighted processes.
• Collaboration with various stakeholders to understand their data needs and provide solutions through new technologies and tools that are compliment with the banks objectives, regulatory requirements, and data governance policies.
• Continual improvement and automation of reporting and metric provision across Technology.
