Join our Equity Financing Sales team in Hong Kong, where you will help grow our equity linked financing business across APAC by originating, structuring, and executing financing solutions such as margin loans, repos, and Total Return Swaps (TRS) for institutional investors, hedge funds, asset managers, and corporates. In this role, you will manage and deepen client relationships, collaborate with Trading and Structuring to deliver trades efficiently, and ensure adherence to internal and regulatory standards. You will also provide clients with timely market insights and contribute to regional initiatives that strengthen our platform, offering a valuable opportunity to engage senior stakeholders and support both regional and global business priorities. Your direct experience in equity financing sales, prime brokerage, equity derivatives, or institutional sales with financing structures and proficiency in Excel, financial analysis, and relevant platforms will support your contribution to regional initiatives that enhance our capabilities.

This role is regulated by the Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA) or Securities and Futures Commissions (SFC).

Purpose of the role

To develop and execute sales strategies to generate new business, maintain and grow relationships with existing clients, and achieve revenue targets. 

Accountabilities

  • Development and maintenance of relationships with clients, understanding their financial needs and objectives.
  • Presentation and pitching of financial products and services to clients, tailored to their requirements.
  • Liaison between clients and internal teams, ensuring smooth execution of client requests.
  • Stay updated on market trends, financial products, and industry regulations.
  • Collaboration with research analysts and other teams to provide clients with insights and market updates.
  • Negotiation of terms and agreements with clients to finalise sales transactions.
