To be successful as an AI Software Engineer, you should have experience with:
Strategic Technical Leadership - Driving the design and delivery of AI-enabled software solutions, providing technical direction, mentoring engineers, and evaluating emerging technologies including LLMs, RAG, AI agents, and Generative AI frameworks.
Cross-Functional Stakeholder Management - Partnering effectively with engineering, product, architecture, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into innovative AI-powered solutions and successful business outcomes.
Advanced Software Architecture - Architecting secure, scalable, and cloud-native applications using distributed systems, microservices, APIs, and modern engineering patterns, with experience integrating AI capabilities into enterprise-grade platforms.

Experience in Large-Scale Legacy Enterprise Transformations - Modernising complex technology estates and embedding AI capabilities into existing enterprise systems.
Open-Source Contribution - Contributions to software engineering, AI, or open-source communities, demonstrating a passion for innovation and continuous learning.
Executive Communication Skills - Communicating technical strategy, architecture decisions, and the value of AI solutions effectively to senior leadership and non-technical stakeholders.
